Voice Coaching for Actors and Presenters
Whether an actor on stage, tv, or film, or a presenter in broadcasting, voice coaching can elevate you to the next level.
Gain depth and colour, but also the techniques to access deep and rich, small and shrill, or any other voice a characterisation requires.
Diction, pacing, inflection can be improved and accents softened.
By learning to use your voice properly it will be free from pain, and the techniques you learn will guard against vocal damage, and help you work through illness.
- Accents and dialects can be coached to sound authentic
- Projection, power and endurance will increase, and can be sustained longer with less fatigue
- Muscle tension and unwelcome habits will be identified, controlled and ideally, eliminated
- Damaged voices can be rehabilitated
- Performance anxiety will be reduced and confidence boosted
Methods and techniques
While I incorporate aspects of the Nadine George Technique and the Accent Method, my coaching is underpinned by the principles of the Estill Voice Training model – a detailed approach towards accessing all areas of the vocal apparatus we each have.

Tailored approach
For anyone who has already received voice training, let me reassure you that this does not mean forgetting everything you already know and starting all over again.
Identifying challenges, getting results
Instead, we will identify where your voice is now, and where you want it to be, and develop a tailored set of exercises to achieve this. The work will be detailed and focussed, meaning effective results can often be achieved within a few sessions.
As you learn to pace, project, breathe, and use each element of your voice, you’ll find you are enabled to speak in a variety of styles and accents, whilst maintaining excellent vocal health.
Please refer to the Lessons and Workshops page for further details.
